Postgraduate Research Topics at NRI

The Natural Resources Institute of the University of Greenwich with its 100 staff currently undertakes research activities around the world. The Institute currently has over 60 PhD students and a similar number of MSc students. The range of topics that can be covered at postgraduate level is very broad and it is not possible to summarise in just a few pages all the topics that can be covered. It is therefore best to contact the Director of Research at NRI, Professor Andrew Westby (a.westby@gre.ac.uk) , to discuss whether NRI staff have the expertise to cover a specific topic. NRI will not take on students in subject areas that it does not have the expertise to supervise. This is it is possible for students to be co-supervised with other University of Greenwich staff.

The following are the main subject areas pursued by NRI's research Groups. We welcome postgraduate enquires in any of these or more widely in agriculture.
